Automatisch terugdraai-veiligheidssysteem

Lijnen worden automatisch teruggedraaid tijdens rotaties. Zelfs de guided safety line wordt teruggedraaid voor optimale veiligheid en comfort.

De Click Bar is uitgerust met de Iron Heart V, voor een snelle en betrouwbare safety release. De lijnen, en zelfs de guided safety line, worden tijdens rotaties automatisch terug gedraaid.

Duotone Click Bar

Met de unieke Trim Unit van de Click Bar kun je in één handomdraai de power en depower zeer nauwkeurig regelen. Om je kite te poweren, draai je de winder met de klok mee. Dit verkort de lengte van je backlines met elke halve draai. Voor depower druk je gewoon op de knop in het midden van de winder. Hiermee worden de backlines langer met elke klik. Op elk moment is de power / depower zichtbaar op het Power Display van de bar, evenals op de neon oranje markering boven de rechter floater. De Click Bar is uitgerust met de Iron Heart V, voor een snelle en betrouwbare safety release. De lijnen, en zelfs de guided safety line, worden tijdens rotaties automatisch terug gedraaid. De Click Bar wordt geleverd met een 4 lijn set-up en is verstelbaar tot 20 m en 22 m of tot 22 m en 24 m lijnlengte.

DE WINDER
DE WINDERDE WINDER

Door de winder van de Trim Unit met de klok mee te draaien, worden de back lines korter. Dit is zichtbaar door de neon oranje markering op de bar en de neon oranje markering op de floater. De kite heeft meer power. De power steps zijn verdeeld in acht stappen, een halve draai op de winder is één power stap.

Duotone Kiteboarding Click Bar GKA ISO Norm 8

Onder de jurisdictie van de Internationale Organisatie voor Standaardisatie (ISO), hebben de Global Kitesports Association (GKA) en een internationaal team van ingenieurs en experts een wereldwijd geldende veiligheidsnorm voor quick-release systemen op kitebarren ontwikkeld.

 

De norm biedt de kitebranche niet alleen een nieuwe testtechnologie om ervoor te zorgen dat hun uitrusting voldoet aan de state-of-the-art veiligheidseisen van ISO. Bovendien stelt het de consument in staat om producten te kiezen die aan de norm voldoen en daarbij helpt het om mensen de kitesport op een veilige manier te laten beoefenen.

 

Alle Duotone Barren (Click bar en Trust bar) en safety leashes van productgeneratie 2020 en nieuwer voldoen aan de norm. Vanaf 2021 zullen ze ook gecertificeerd worden. Als je meer wilt weten over de ISO-norm 21853, klik dan hier.

LIJNLENGTE ADVISEUR

De lengte van Duotone lijnen kan een enorm verschil maken voor de manier waarop een kite vliegt. Verschillende stijlen van het kiten, verschillende kites of grootte van de kite zijn bepalende factoren die een verschillende lijnlengte vereisen. Om maximaal comfort en de beste prestaties van een kite te bereiken, is het essentieel om de juiste lengte van de lijnen te kiezen die passen bij de kite en de vaarstijl van de kiter!

For me there is no other choice to that Click Bar. I should have used the Click Bar earlier. I was really skeptical at first. Now I don’t want anything else to steer my kite. I love these technical detail and easy playful way to control my kite. Unfortunately it has weak spots – the floaters and rubber corts but I am sure the R&D is working hard to improve this. If I get the chance to improve things on this I would like to have a new EVA material on the bar plains to get less pressure marks on the palms after intense kite sessions. And the other point is a fixation of the safety line – do you know the dangling as long as the kite has no pressure?... But these are the little things- anyway that product is the best bar on the market!

Love the Click Bar. At the beginning I was a bit afraid about durability. I am using the bar now over 2 years and have no problems. Everything works perfect. I am so happy with this bar, no adjuster in the middle. When I go for freestyle I put out my line extensions and make it to a 22m freestyle bar. I also put the V out and it works perfect for my dice. For wave riding I change the setup in 2 min and it works perfect too. I love this bar...

The Click Bar is by far my favourite bar. I do a lot of rotations during my jumps, so I really enjoy the automatic untwisting of the lines. We have a lot of gusts at my home spot, so the huge depower stroke is awesome for that. I have used the Trust Bar here before and the depower stroke was just not long enough for the gusts. I also never had any problems with the lines used for the Click Bar.

The cleanest set up of a bar to date. The click bar offers many benefits to all levels of ability. For beginners you can keep your hands on the bar whilst depowering/powering up and for advanced riders looking to find that optimum boost setting is easy. Auto Bar rotation another nice feature & the adaptable V position allows further tuning.

Even after a couple of years the Clickbar is still lightyears ahead to any other system. I think if other brands could, they would all copy it, but somehow they can't.
Once you've tried it and going back to old systems, you're thinking wtf... I just came from an Audi RS6 back to a Lada... :-)
