The Pop D/LAB is Duotone’s dedicated freestyle foil, engineered for explosive pop, maximum control, and the most radical aerial maneuvers. Designed to meet the demands of modern freestyle riding, it delivers a locked-in feel with consistent front foot pressure—key for powerful take-offs and controlled landings.
With its low to medium aspect ratio, the Pop D/LAB offers full control in powered conditions while generating explosive lift and class-leading re-pop. The fast, low-drag profile allows riders to build maximum speed before take-off, translating directly into height and amplitude for advanced tricks.
Compared to more surf-oriented foils like the Carve 3.0, the Pop D/LAB is more locked, prioritizing stability and pop over glide and carving flow. This makes it the ideal choice for dedicated freestyle riders, while also offering excellent performance for fast Kite Foiling and winging on flatwater.
Built in Duotone’s premium D/LAB construction, the Pop features a reinforced structure with increased fuselage cross section and a carefully tuned Carbon layup, ensuring maximum strength, stiffness, and durability - even under the heaviest landings.
Developed and proven on the world stage, the Pop D/LAB has already secured wins at GWA Freestyle World Cups during its development phase, with the 650 size being the go-to choice for our top team riders, while the 800 offers more lift for lighter winds or heavier riders and the 500 being the top choice for our fleet of Young Blood rippers.
Paired with the dedicated Monobloc Tail F165, featuring the 3BS+ system with 4th screw, the Pop D/LAB delivers exceptional pitch stability and control across the full speed range.
