SLS stands for Strong Light Superior and is your gear that empowers you to push your limits and strive for peak performance without compromise.

Introducing the Skybrid SLS – the latest addition to our range of high-performance Wing Foil boards, bridging the gap between our dedicated Downwinder range and the traditional compact Wing Foil boards.

The Skybrid SLS is our new mid-length board featuring a longer and narrower outline while maintaining a wider nose and tail for incredible efficiency yet sustaining exceptional stability.

Constructed in our premium SLS technology and longer Carbon foil tracks for minimum weight and increased adjustability, the Skybrid SLS ensures maximum performance, allowing the earliest flight in light winds and easy take-off with smaller, more efficient foils for the intermediate to advanced Wing Foiler.

The board is designed with a single concave to flat bottom shape for early planning and take-offs. Its raised front foot deck angle provides a more playful and responsive feeling while up on the foil, enhancing your overall riding experience through maneuvers and when surfing swell. The higher nose rocker helps prevent catching on the water and ensures smooth acceleration.

Cut-outs in the tail facilitate an early release from the water, while the beveled rails make takeoffs easier and offer more clearance through turns. This board excels in performance when set up for strapless riding but also has the option of using foot straps for those seeking more control during maneuvers and high-speed runs.

Experience the perfect combination of performance and efficiency with the Skybrid SLS our freeride hybrid between Downwinder and classic Wing Foiling shapes.

Mid length design
The Skybrid SLS features a mid-length design that bridges the gap between our Downwinder and Sky Wing board range, offering the best of both worlds for a versatile performance.
Highly efficient take-off
The Skybrid SLS boasts a highly efficient take-off due to its narrower and longer outline, allowing for earlier lift – even on smaller foils.
Glide efficiency
Performs with the glide efficiency close to our Downwinder-Shapes but in a more compact design.

Rails

Bevelled rails with rounded apex for clean take-off, clearance in turns and neutral behaviour in touchdowns.

Outline

Due to its narrow and long outline the Skybrid SLS ensures efficient glide and earliest take-offs.

Cutouts

Cutouts in the tail of the board are designed for an early release of the water, enhancing the performance when taking off.

Deck shape

The recessed deck provides a direct connection to the board and foil for the ultimate control and board response.

Foil tracks

Our new and longer carbon foil tracks offer more adjustability and an even wider range of foil placement options while reducing the overall weight of the board.

Lightweight construction

The Biax Carbon PVC Construction combines biaxial carbon fiber layers with a PVC core, resulting in a lightweight yet durable board with exceptional strength and responsiveness.

Great light wind board!

I added the 5’10 to my Sky Wing 4’11 for lighter days and it works perfect. Super easy to ride and especially to pump, a real pleasure!

hi guys, I have the 5'8. I weigh 80kg, use the Slicks '24 5,5 and 4,0. mostly inland choppy. My question. I want to ride on the small lake waves, When I see a bigger chop coming, I turn the board on the small wave/chop and try to ride it like a downwinder almost. Now my rides don't last more then 10 seconds max, but I want to be able to ride them longer, with some pumping. And if I can ride it with a Wing, maybe I buy a SUP DW board as well to do SUP downwinders as well. But first I need to learn it with a wing. What foil would you recommend? The Glide 2.0? or the Carve or Wizz? I think max 950-1000 should be enough? or do you recommend something like 1100 for low wind days? I was thinking around 900-950 for light wind, and then something like a 750 for more wind... but please inform what you would recommend? also mast length wise? thanks!

Hi Mark, sounds good - right board size for your weight. So to get more glide, putting the foil further fwd always helps, especially with the new Glide 2.0 which prefers a more forward position vs Glide 2.0 or Carve/Free. The Skybrids not only start early, but also do allow you to use slightly smaller foils - so for your weight, wing sizes and Lake waves, I would go for a 1100 and 750, I think this will give you a very big range of use - the 1100 Glide 2.0 has massive low end, but can still be ridden easily up to 20knots/is a good foil later for downwinding on a SUP downwinder/wing downwinder. Mast length, if you are mainly on flat water/winging, the 82 is a good allrounder, I would go for the SLS model, to get the most stiffness for the 1100 Glide 2.0 Good luck!
