Introducing the Glide 2.0 D/LAB – the next generation of our Glide range in premium D/LAB construction. Designed to meet the demands of the very best, it features a Semi-Glider low-drag design that offers a remarkable speed range and superior pump and glide performance across various foiling disciplines. The Glide 2.0 D/LAB is highly efficient for its size, delivering lift comparable to one size up from the previous Glide series, achieving early take-off effortlessly and remaining stall-friendly at lower riding speeds.
The Glide 2.0 D/LAB excels in providing the perfect mix of glide, pump, and maneuverability. With a high aspect ratio of 10.2 – 10.3, it offers improved glide and pump performance compared to its predecessor. The new profile incorporates improved lift-to-drag values, enhancing efficiency and overall performance. A wider chord in the center facilitates early take-off and increased lift, while the lower chord and thinner tips enable improved tip-to-tip turning and maintain neutral behavior when breaching. The re-designed profile, combined with our D/LAB Semi-Glider design, elevates the performance of the Glide 2.0 D/LAB to new heights.
Paired with the new Stabilizer H, the Glide 2.0 D/LAB reduces drag and improves pumping efficiency, offering a seamless ride.
Constructed using a computer-simulated D/LAB layup, it utilizes a special mix and orientation of carbon and HM Carbon fibers, ensuring highly optimized flex and strength.
Available in 620, 750, and 900cm², the D/LAB wings are identical in shape to the SLS wings. The full Carbon semi-glider construction not only reduces overall weight but also noticeably reduces drag, making it the top choice for serious foilers looking for the best performance available. Experience the ultimate in foiling performance with the Glide 2.0 D/LAB!

Hello, until now I am using carve 850 dlab. Now I bought new glide 2.0 dlab(900). I only use foil for freeride, waves, speed. Not jumps. I found the glide 900 to be more comfortable. I'm talking about the speed of my carve 850 (27.5KN) and glide 900 (26KN). A smaller 750 or 620 will help me at speed. But do I want comfort at the same time? I am considering whether the 750 would be one foil for everything. ?Or 900 and 620 together? I rode the 900 even in light winds with a 55L sky style (80Kg) without a problem Thank you Pavel
ReplyHi Pavel, Top speeds, well done! So easy answer - yes the 750 will give you that extra speed vs the 900, in fact a good friend of mine (84kg) borrowed my 750 and 900 Glide 2.0's for his holiday - he mentioned he actually only rode the 900 a couple of times in light winds, otherwise always on the 750. If you are riding in much stronger winds then for sure the 620 will give you even more top speed, but I think if you were ok on the 850 Carve 2.0, that the 750 Glide 2.0 is a good replacement - as you mention, no jumping, more comfort etc. I think 750/900 would be a great quiver. If you were 10-15kg lighter, then maybe 750/620?
ReplyThank you for the answer. I'll probably think more about the 900/750 combination. I was just afraid that it wouldn't be very similar to the 750 and 900. That's why I was also thinking about the 620. But then again, I don't really want an extra small foil. I have a Glide 900dlab. If the price of 750 is worth buying again in Dlab? Is there much of a difference? I also have a d-lab mast. Thanks
ReplyI would reccomend the D/LAB for someone riding at the speeds/level u mention, u already have the back piece anyway then, so for the SLS 750 you would need to buy an SLS fuselage in case u do not have one? And matches perfectly to the D/LAB mast!
ReplyHi, I use 1305 glide and also 1000 free for jumping on windy days. My 1305 is too big for now, and want to change for new smaller glide 2.0 or carve 2.0. 78kg weight, good level (speed/tack and basic jumps) with windy river/ lake use. Wings 3 /4 / 5m unit For lightwind (12-15knts) days, which foil would be better ? carve 2.0 1100 dlab or glide 2.0 900 dlab ? Possible to jump with glide 900, span of 96cm ? Thks Laurent
ReplyHi Laurent, I'm 75kg, my 2 most used foils are the Carve 2.0 in 1100 and 850 - these are better for jumping than the Glide, because they have a touch less lift and glide/are easier to change direction right before jumping/allow you to push down and load up for jumps. At your weight, the 1100 Carve 2.0 should be fine for the 12-15 days, with a bit of pumping on the lower end. The Glide 900 is also a good option, but a touch too small maybe for the 12knot days, as mentioned, especially for jumping, the Carve 2.0 range has the edge, also on absolute top speed, which is also nice then for max height in jumping. Carve 2.0 also turns tighter due to the narrower span/lower aspect outline.
ReplyHi Craig Thks for your answer. Free 2.0 in next months ?
