Young Blood Camps 2024

The 2024 Young Blood Camp season is in the books and once again marks a milestone in fostering the next generation of Wing Foiling. Seven national camps across Europe, from picturesque Achensee in Austria to Spanish wind mecca Tarifa, welcomed over 120 enthusiastic kids from 7 to 17 years-old with their families into the sport's vibrant community.

Highlights included the largest and most established gathering of Wing Foiling Young Bloods in Grönwohld, Germany, as well as debut camps in Bol, Croatia, at Lake Uri, Switzerland and Lake Lipno, Czech Republic, with national star Paula Novotna. Pro riders like Benjamin May and experienced coaches like Michi Rossmeier not only taught Wing Foiling techniques, but also provided a supportive environment in which the kids could gain confidence on and off the water. Look back with us at all the stops throughout Europe and watch our highlight clip below.

The season culminated in the exclusive international "Young Blood meets Pro Team Invitational", which took place for the third time in Tarifa. The greatest talents were invited for three days and received valuable tips from pro coaches such as local Jerome Cloetens and German legend Henning Nockel on how to become professional athletes.

The selected Young Bloods trained alongside the young Freestyle shooting stars Charlie Loch from UK and Aleks & Tom Acherer. The two Austrian 17-year-old twins have just impressively conquered the podium in the final of the GWA Wing Foiling World Cup, showcasing the Young Blood concept of developing future champions!
