CONGRATULATIONS NIA SUARDIAZ

Last year Nia had her first World Cup victory at the age of 15 – after only about just over a year of Wing Foiling. This year she is still only 16 years young and finished the season with two World Champion titles in Surf-Freestyle & FreeFly-Slalom and two Vice World Champion Titles in the GWA Wave discipline (with Wesley Brito in 1^st!) and in the Big Air event on Gran Canaria.

But how is that possible in such a short time and at that young age? We caught up with Nia to find out a bit more about that young German/Spanish superstar. Make sure you watch the video!

MAGICAL TAHITI

Going to a place like Tahiti and seeing all this magic live is the dream of every water sports enthusiast. The south pacific just has something very special, and for most of us it’s simply very far away. When the decision was made that Fanatic foils and boards are merging into Duotone we knew that we needed to shoot the new collection on a very special spot.

Tahiti was starting to light up with wind and waves in May/June - that was exactly the period when the new products were supposed to be ready. Olivia Jenkins, Finn & Jeffrey Spencer, Clement Roseyro, and Klaas Voget were fortunate to embark on a magical Wing & Foiling trip, exploring this stunning destination.

GWA WORLD CHAMPIONS WESLEY BRITO AND NIA SUARDIAZ

Wesley Brito won the first-ever world title in the Wave discipline on the GWA Wing Foil World Tour in Dakhla, Morocco! Wesley won the discipline’s first stop of three in Cape Verde and came from behind in his heats to secure the vital wins to take the coveted crown at Dakhla’s Westpoint.
It definitely was a dream to come true for him (and us as sponsor) - his first ever wave world title!

Nia Suardiaz finished 3rd in the event which means she is the Wave Vice World Champion - the 3rd podium in the pocket for the 16-year young girl from Germany/Spain this year as she already won two titles at the previous event in Denmark: GWA World Champ Surf-Freestyle & FreeFly-Slalom!

YOUNG BLOOD MEETS PRO TEAM

The second edition of our "Young Blood meets Pro Team" Invitational Camp took place beginning of October in Tarifa and featured handpicked talents from all over the world.

More than 20 young talents aged between 13 to 17 from Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Israel, Spain and even Guadeloupe were selected to come to Tarifa and upgrade their level even more with the help of our pro coaches Wesley Brito, Nia Suardiaz, Jerome Cloetens, Jaime Herraiz, Lilian Juppet and Michi "Rossi" Rossmeier. Action and fun guaranteed!

FANATIC WING FOILING & FOILING JOIN DUOTONE

In September we had the exciting union of Fanatic Wing Foiling and Foiling products with the renowned Duotone brand. Since the establishment of Duotone in 2018, it has garnered immense strength, expertise, and customer acceptance in the realm of Kiteboarding and Windsurfing products.

ACADEMY APP: WAVE CATEGORY

In august we introduced the Wave Category to our Wing Academy App as the supreme discipline in all water sports. We have added 15 new videos that get you ready to hit the waves!

CANARY ISLANDS HOPPING

When it comes to water sports, the Canaries are the ultimate destination in Europe. The islands Tenerife, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria are on the top of the list for windsurfers and kiters as the wind usually blows on a regular base.

But what about Wing Foiling? Our team with Nia Suardiaz, Jerome Cloetens and Wesley Brito wanted to check it out and hooked up with Fuerte local Julia Castro to shoot the new Slick!

From 28th of April to 1st of May 2023, our partners all over the world dedicated special attention to nature's beautiful resource. ONE FOR THE BOOKS - CAPE VERDE

Our most contrasting team characters set out to Cape Verde to push the limits of Wing Foiling.
United by this mission Clement Roseyro, Jerome Cloetens and CV local Wesley Brito scored one of the gnarliest waves that has ever been ridden on a foil - definitely one for the books!
