»I crashed my first trick, one that I usually land every single time, not a good start. But then I got the tack backflip, so I was really stoked and on top again. All the women have raised their game since the last Surf-Freestyle event in Tarifa - all the girls have been training so hard, and Mar is ripping with her front flips. It’s so amazing to see them performing. The level went so much higher, especially in the final heats. «

Nia was challenged byr team mate Mar De Arce showing off with a “first-ever” front flip triggering innovative jumps in almost every heat. She kept the streak alive with a huge front flip in the finals and finsihed in in 2nd place for the event and the year!

Big shoutout to the rest of the team for their fantastic performance!

In the male division, we had three of our rising talents in the top game, which is an incredible result! Seventeen-year-old Tom Acherer finished 5th, his twin brother Aleks landed in 13th, and 17-year-old Charlie Loch from the UK ended 9th. Remember their names; we will definitely hear more from them in the future!

Also, great job to Maria Behrens, Benjamin May, Rocco Sotomayor, Benjamin May and Gollito Estredo. Our team spirit was great– thanks, everyone for helping everyone out as well!
