When Austria meets Hawaii, you know it’s going to be a good time!
For the first time ever, Austria's Tom and Aleks Acherer joined forces with our shapers and top riders Finn and Jeffrey Spencer from Maui in Hood River, bringing together two of the most progressive brother duos in the wing & foiling scene.
The week was all about connection, creativity, and progression — from early-morning downwinders through the Gorge to powered freestyle sessions at the Hatchery. Between long action filled training days on the water, the crew spent time testing prototypes, exchanging ideas, and fine-tuning setups for the next generation of Duotone Wing & Foiling gear.

The chemistry was instant — with both sets of brothers sharing not only their technical knowledge but also the same energy and passion for pushing forward. Whether it was chasing bumps, landing new combos, or dialing in small design tweaks, every session turned into an opportunity to learn and have fun. Plus the Acherer bros made their first experiences in downwind and parawinging.
The trip wrapped up at the AWSI event, where the team connected with riders, designers, and industry friends from around the world — celebrating innovation, performance, and the spirit of community that defines Wing Foiling today.
