One of our most popular boards, the Whip SLS is very easy to ride and perfect for riding small to medium-sized waves and getting snappy vertical turns and performing freestyle tricks in the air.

The Whip SLS, which stands for Strong Light Superior, remains one of the most popular boards on the market; its unique shape and performance characteristics make it perfect for many users. Designed with strapless freestyle and wave riding in mind, it excels in flat water when you want to fly just as much as it does on the wave face.  


It’s an easy board to ride, with a forgiving nature; beginners will enjoy learning to ride and be able to perfect those first transitions. More experienced riders will tap into the performance that allows the board to easily pop off the water and stick to your feet while you jump and spin. In the waves, the board has a direct vertical feel, allowing you to get into critical sections and snap off the top of the wave with plenty of power.  


The Whip SLS is an exceedingly versatile board, perfect for small to medium-sized waves and strapless freestyle. It will stick to your feet in the air and snap off the top section with ease, letting you concentrate on the moment and not worry about your equipment. It’s also a very easy board to learn on; if it’s your first few days with a surfboard the Whip SLS is a perfect partner. The rocker line and channel on the board’s base combine to offer incredible speed, both on the wave and when riding on the flat; this is great for linking turns, catching fast waves, and popping huge tricks.

Tight but easy to install and uninstall even with Sand and Salt.

Optimized layers and the mix with composite materials help us to construct powerful, agile and versatile directionals that come with a unique flex – responsive flex!
