In 1971 Porsche made pigs go fast, today Porsche makes pigs fly! In Porsche history known as the "Pink Pig", "Big Berta" or even "Truffle Hunter" the Porsche 917/20 takes a special place among the various 917 versions.

Today it's time for a tribute to this legendary car: Together with Duotone Porsche decided to extend their brand collaboration and launch a second exceptional design edition. Due to the strong focus of both brands on performance and speed, the inspiration by one of Porsche Motorsport most iconic designs is a perfect match. Duotone Design Director Florian Panther in cooperation with the Porsche Design team brought this exceptional design back to live and adapted it to the 2024 Evo SLS. Who said pigs can’t fly!?


If you want the ultimate in performance across the widest range of disciplines, the all-new Evo SLS is the kite you need in your quiver. Built using the SLS construction and materials, including the incredibly lightweight and durable Penta TX, combined with Trinity TX to shave up to 15% of the kite’s weight compared to regular models. It’s not just about making the kite light, though; the construction also makes the kite stiffer, which improves the flying characteristics in every area. You get more pop, and better take offs along with huge hangtime. The handling is incredibly dynamic, helped by the new Flex Struts, allowing the kite to twist resulting in significantly faster and tighter turns. The pulley less bridle means less maintenance and better handling, especially when throwing kite loops. Total control is right at your fingertips at every stage of every trick as the kite becomes an extension of your body. SLS Construction

Heavy Duty Leading Edge Closing Seam

The leading edges of all kites are extremely durable due to a special heavy duty closing seam. The Dacron material at the leading edge is reinforced with a self sticky Insignia Tape and double stitched additionally. The Heavy Duty Leading Edge Closing Seam is resistant to very high tensions and diagonal forces.

Load Distribution Panels

As kite geometry improves, the canopy must continue to resist increasing forces. To spread these forces, Load-Distribution-Panels are used, holding the kite’s shape even under the most extreme loads. In practice this gives a smoother and more consistent performance from the kite in any riding situation.

Modern Trailing Edge Design

A narrower trailing edge and a lighter combination of materials to reduce wear and to create a slicker kite profile.

Penta TX Frame Construction

Penta TX, the guarantee for a more sporty, more precise and crisp feel of the kite, achieved by 15% less overall weight and a five times higher tear resistance. Penta TX replaces Dacron and is showing 50% less elongation compared to standard Dacron. Penta T is a quite stiff material, resulting in a high structural stiffness, especially recognizable in strong wind conditions, leading to less deformation of the overall structure of the kite. It's responsible for a very precise timing when edging, releasing the edge and all steering impulses - the precise and reliable steering of a racing car. Penta TX is used in the leading edge and the center strut.

Flex Struts

The counterpart to a stiff frame are the Flex Struts, between middle and tip struts. They ensure a direct and very reactive feel of SLS kites. The agaility of a three strut kite, combined with the stiffness and the solid frame of a 5 strut kite. A softer material enables the Flex Struts to bend and twist in a defined way. Steering impulses are transformed smoothly and fast into turning actions.

Anti Snag

The Anti Snag webbing is preventing the lines from tangling around the tip of the kite. Waterstarts are made easier and safety is increased.
