From his home spot at the beautiful location of Lake Traunsee, Austria, pleasant-natured Stefan Spiessberger (“Stef”) started off as a world class athlete at the GKA Kiteboarding World Cup. When Wing Foiling evolved, he was immediately attracted by the endless possibilities and fast development of this new sport.
Soon the ambitious Austrian proved his talent in the GWA Wing Foiling World Cup as well, stepping onto the podium. As if that is not enough, he has established a water sports center “Lakebase” at the place where it all began, over 15 years ago. Stef also has supported and driven the development of the Duotone Kite and Wing Academy App.
