The Spanish waterwoman with Danish roots claims herself to be a hard-working water addict who always likes to keep many doors open. Julia Castro has been competing in different sports since she was 3 years old.

As a professional kiter, Julia’s first foiling experience was with a kite in 2016 in the Philippines before she tried Wing Foiling at the annual Boards & More Meeting in Tarifa in 2019. After her return Julia ordered a Wing Foiling Set straight away and enjoys the easiness of riding any kind of spot ever since: “You just throw your board into the water and off you go. The ability to go on waves and enjoy them is just so amazing.”
