Born on Norderney, I learned to windsurf at the age of 7 years. A neighbor of our family brought the first Surfboard to the island. Because I was born and raised on an island, I was able to windsurf and trained almost every day. As a little boy, I had already the dream of becoming a professional windsurfer. This dream started 1989 and came true.
