Do you want to double or triple your time on the water and experience the silent and effortless flight, even in the same wind conditions as Wing Foilers? Look no further than the STINGRAY board range, catering to every aspect of Windsurf Foiling from Foil Entry up to Hardcore Foil Freestyle.

The lineup consists of 3 distinct design concepts:

STINGRAY 136

Perfect for those entering the exciting world of Windsurf Foiling, the 136 offers generous dimensions allowing usage in lighter winds than you need to waterstart making it comfortable to uphaul and to get you up and flying in the lightest breeze. The backward-oriented volume allows you to move your feet close to the foil before the board is even in motion. However, as the STINGRAY 136 has a similar aspect ratio (length to width ratio) than the other sizes it’s by no means a dull board to ride. It will therefore grow with you as your skill and performance level progress. Beveled rails at the nose aid smooth out landings and recovery from touchdowns. Updated for 2024, it now includes CONVEX TAIL CUT-OUTS, minimizing wetted surface for smoother take-offs and quicker flight transitions.

STINGRAY SLS 126 and 116

The focus on innovation was centered here with both boards having a complete redesign this year. With lengths of 206 and 196 cm respectively, these New School Freemove foil boards are very compact. This reduces the nose weight for an immediate take-off into flight mode. The reduced swing weight also makes these boards more aggressive to carve, jump and rotate on the foil. These 2 sizes are also equipped with our brand new CONVEX TAIL CUT-OUTS.

STINGRAY SLS 103

The smallest STINGRAY is designed for progressive foilers with focus on manoeuvres rather than straight line performance only. The 103 allows riders to link carves, 360s, and even air moves within a short time and distance. For quick change of directions with great connection to the foil - built to carve and pop! It is simply a 100% Freestyle Foiling optimized design.

All sizes now feature the Track Box System exclusively, eliminating the additional Tuttle Box and reducing weight by approximately 600 grams. This adjustment results in a more balanced board, facilitating quicker take-offs. Additionally, the new FAST MOUNT SYSTEM allows for easy foil mounting from the tail without dismantling screws and nuts (except for size 136). Be the first on the water with the STINGRAY series!

Deck Shape

Flatter deck shape for comfortable stance and maximum control during jibes.

Duotone Premium Strap incl. multi-plugs

High quality closed cell neoprene for maximum longevity. Only black Lycra coating guarantees maximum comfort as well as maximum durability. The strap features measurement markings to allow you to quickly set up and replicate your individual size.

DUO RIDING STYLE PLUGS:

  • Inboard position for improved manoeuvrability and a more relaxed riding style
  • Outboard position for a more performance oriented riding style

Outline

SIZE SPECIFIC LENGTH

  • The 136 size has a slightly longer length to gain noticeably more control, ease of use and effortless take-off. Having some length at the front also softens re-entry, minimising catastrophic touch-downs make it the ideal beginner foil board.
  • The other sizes are much more compact to reduce the lift required for faster take offs and to keep them flying. The compact length makes these boards also more lively increasing maneuverability.

Rail Shape

Fuller rails to generate maximum righting moment plus forward drive for faster take-offs.

70% EVA deck

A large 6mm deck pad covers the entire stance area which results in a foot-friendly riding sensation. The heat pressed diamond grooving pattern protects the EVA against abrasion and provides an extraordinary grip level. The pad ends above the rail for longevity when stored and pushed into board-racks. We only select EVA colours which don't look dirty after use and will also resist fading after hours in the sun.

Bottom Shape

Double concave Vee-shape in the nose prevents catapults when touching down at full speed.

CONVEX TAIL CUT-OUTS (except size 103) reduce the wetted surface. This decreases the drag before take-off and accelerates the transition into flight mode.

Rocker Line

Rocker line developed over decades that generates enough lift whilst still releasing drag, a key performance component of modern foil sailing

Fast Mount System

Be the fastest on the water >> the new FAST MOUNT SYSTEM allows to mount the foil from the tail without dismantling the mounting screws and nuts (except size 136).

No more multi system boxes >> saves approx. 600 g and prevents the board from becoming tail-heavy/sticky.

FULL CUSTOM SLS TECHNOLOGY

The FULL CUSTOM SLS TECHNOLOGY is a full custom technology which is one hundred percent identical to high-end custom made boards.

Instead of using a mould to bring the EPS foam core into its final shape each EPS block gets CNC milled. This ensures maximum precision and saves weight.

Same as with high-end custom board makers the major advantage lays in the processing. We call this SINGLE PROCESS TECHNOLOGY and it is the key to our industry-leading weight-strength ratio. Instead of combining working steps to save time and money every single step follows its individual process. So for example instead of joining the PVC sandwich with the EPS core in a single shot we vacuum-bag the top and bottom PVC shields with the EPS core separately.

For all SLS boards we use our most sophisticated layup which consists of more than 50 individual parts and components.

The major difference compared to the FULL CUSTOM D/LAB TECHNOLOGY is the S-glass on the PVC sandwich for the SLS boards (like most wave boards on the market), while the D/LAB boards are equipped with a carbon-Innegra layer on the outside. Innegra is the best composite fibre to prevent dents. Dents caused by the mast touching the board (during catapults or when getting washed) are mainly an aesthetic issue. But if you want a board that stays dent-free, you should opt for the D/LAB version.

Last but not least even every single board size has an individual layup. That’s the final stage of individualization in construction.

Yet all of this is achieved without any sacrifice in durability since we always follow our core motto LIGHT DONE RIGHT.

Stingray 126

Team, Wanted to share my thoughts about the new board. Simply amazing. A massive step forward from the previous 130 and 115. I have been using this board for few months now from near no wind to 25 knots using a range of f pace cam 7.8 right down to f pace style 4.0 with the carbon mast fuselage and 1000 occasionally 1250 foils. The single rear strap option is great for gusty harbour sailing allowing a more upright stance. Although the rig track is shorter just leaving it in the middle works for all conditions. The take off in front and rear straps with small amount of pumping or in higher winds simple bear away with quick pop gets you flying effortlessly. The foil mast can be placed in a much wider range of adjustment for and aft of the mid point with no adverse porpoising. The older boards were critical on placement right at the back. The board still flys straight in the stronger winds even in the strongest gusts. Moving the foil mast forward with only the 1000 foil allows unbelievable early take off and still nice speeds of up to 20 knots which I think is great for free ride kit. The stingray and fpace combination is truly a rewarding, fun and effortless way to enjoy windsurfing. Thankyou for the efforts you have put into the equipment!
