Industry-leading woven drop-stitch material made to our specifications used for all our boards. This material is 20 % lighter but still even stiffer. Just as importantly, the woven material is much easier and more compact to roll.

The panels are sealed through machine-welding now instead of glue. This not only means a significant improvement in durability and longevity, but also a considerable weight saving due to the elimination of the heavy adhesive.

Vergleich Duotone iSUP Flow Air SLS 10.8 2026 mit Fanatic Fly Air Premium 10.8 2021

Nachdem uns im Urlaub unser Fanatic Fly Air Premium 10.8 am Mastfußeinsatz geplatzt war nahmen wir Kontakt mit Boards and More auf. Dort half uns der Mitarbeiter sofort, unbürokratisch und kulant, wir bestellten ein Duotone iSUP Flow Air SLS 10.8 an den Urlaubsort. Das Flow Air kam sensationell schnell bereits zwei Tage später an, danke an das B&M-Team für den topp Service!!! Mittlerweile haben wir auch das Fly Air Premium wieder, repariert durch Dr. SUP, jetzt ohne die festen Seitenfinnen und den Mastfußeinsatz. Verglichen haben wir die beiden Boards auf dem Salzgittersee, auf dem Flachwasser sowie bei der 300 m langen welligen Passage parallel zur Wasserskianlage, Abstand etwa 5 m. Fahrer: 70 kg und 90 kg, Erfahrungen auf dem SUP seit 2013. Ergebnis Flachwasser: Das Duotone ist leichter und agiler, folgt Paddelschlägen zum Beschleunigen, Bremsen, Kurswechseln und Wenden deutlich schneller als das Fanatic. Dabei fühlt es sich auf dem Wasser "rutschiger" und um die Längsachse kippliger an, trotz praktisch gleicher Abmessungen. Bei Geradeauslauf und Fahrwiderstand liegen beide fast gleich auf mit einem kleinen Vorteil für das Duotone. Ergebnis Wasserski-Welle: Hier hat das Fanatic durch seine um 50 % größere Masse, den leichten Rocker sowie den hochgezogene Bug klare Vorteile. Es lässt sich durch Gewichtsverlagerung gut über die seitlich sowie schräg von vorn oder hinten anlaufenden kurzen Wellen steuern und hält dabei auch aufgrund seiner Trägheit den Kurs. Das Duotone hingegen bietet durch sein durchgehend flaches Unterwasserschiff kaum dynamische Steuerbarkeit durch Gewichtsverlagerung. Die Wellen schlagen seitlich gegen die Rails des flachen Bug und werfen diesen zur Seite. Seine Agilität trägt dabei zu vehementen Kurswechsels in Wellenrichtung bei. Durch Paddeln muss dagegengehalten werden, das Duotone verliert dabei an Geschwindigkeit gegenüber dem Fanatic. Soweit der Vergleich zum dynamischen Fahrverhalten. Den detaillierter Vergleich durch die (Google-)KI können wir an dieser Stelle bestätigen. Unsere KI-Abfragen: "Vergleich Duotone iSUP Flow Air SLS 10.8 2026 mit Fanatic Fly Air Premium 10.8 2021" und danach vertiefend: "Vergleich der Wendigkeit und der Kippstabilität sowie des Fahrwiderstands, Eignung für Flachwasser und leichte Wellen" Unser Fazit: Beides sehr empfehlenswerte ausgereifte Boards. Das Duotone punktet mit Leichtigkeit, beim Transport, auf Flachwasser, durch Agilität. Das Fanatic hat in der Welle die Nase vorn, ist dynamisch besser steuerbar und vor allem in Fahrt kippstabiler. Next Generation: Technologie des Doutone Flow Air im Shape des Fanatic Fly Air - ohne Mastfuß und feste Finnen, dafür mit Tragegriffen auch vorn und hinten.
