The perfect board for younger and smaller riders looking for high-end performance packed into a compact shape. Based on the Whip SLS this board will allow groms to progress quickly both in the air and on the waves.

With more and more youngsters getting into the sport, the need for a smaller board became even more apparent. Our current Whip SLS, in its smallest size, is still too big for the groms out there. The Slash SLS, which stands for strong light superior, has been designed from the ground up by Sky Solbach to meet the demanding needs of younger riders. 

This board was hugely popular last year; the SLS construction features the highly durable Innegra Shield and a Carbon Beam, which increases the board's responsiveness on the water. The Cork Shock Absorber 2.0 reduces fatigue and improves the ride over choppy water while adding a great contact patch for control.   


Perfect for shredding small to medium-sized waves, the board has a vertical turn and a good snap off the top. It’s also packed with pop allowing even the smallest of riders to boost big airs and go for the latest tricks. The Slash SLS is ideal for young riders who love strapless front rolls and want to rip in the waves with style and power. 

High-performance small wave/freestyle board
The unique shape of the Whip SLS makes it the perfect board for the rider who likes to throw down the latest tricks as much as they want to carve up the waves.
Snappy Top Turns
The compact shape enables you to turn incredibly tightly in the pocket; vertical top to bottom turns are the speciality of the Whip SLS.
Incredible Speed Generation
The rocker line and channel on the board’s base combine to offer incredible speed, both on the wave and when riding on the flat; this is great for linking turns, catching fast waves, and popping huge tricks.

Cork Shock Absorber 2.0

Tight but easy to install and uninstall even with Sand and Salt.
