Rockstars, Podiums and World Titles in Fuerteventura

The last stop of the 2026 GWA World Tour in Fuerteventura brought another action-packed week of competition to a close. Challenging conditions, close battles and a few unfortunate setbacks made for an emotional finish to the season, but our riders once again demonstrated their depth and strength with outstanding performances across both disciplines Surf-Freestyle and Freeride-Slalom.

Our team celebrated three podium finishes in Fuerteventura, while also securing four overall World Championship podiums and numerous Top 10 finishes across the fleet.

Congratulations to everyone on an unforgettable season. Through countless standout performances, all our riders once again showcased the passion, commitment, and level of riding that continue to drive our sport forward. #proudsponsor

2026 FREEFLY-SLALOM & SURF-FREESTYLE TITLES

The biggest congratulations go to Nia Suardiaz, who once again proved why she is one of the sport's greatest talents. After securing the Surf-Freestyle World Title already in Gran Canaria, Nia also finished the season as the 2026 FreeFly Slalom Vice World Champion, adding yet another incredible chapter to her career.

In the men's Surf-Freestyle rankings, Tom Acherer delivered another exceptional season to finish Vice World Champion, while Mar de Arce secured 3rd overall in FreeFly Slalom after another consistently strong campaign.

Despite missing out on the podium in Fuerteventura, Rocco Sotomayor, Charlie Loch , Manon Dupé, Franz Schlittenbauer, Zoe Schönwetter, Tom Pansard and Benjamin May all delivered strong performances throughout the season finishing within the Top Ten!

A special mention also goes to our injured riders Marie Schlittenbauer and Aleks Acherer, who were unable to compete. We wish both of them a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing them back on tour soon!
