Mar de Arce Sanchez

Mar de Arce’s love for watersports already started at the tender age of 7 with Windsurfing, where she competed in the PWA Wave discipline from 14-years on and became U20 World Champion in 2018. When she tried Wing Foiling in Tarifa in 2022, the Spaniard was immediately hooked. Mar loves the unique feeling of flying over the water and the wide variety of conditions, that suddenly become attractive - thanks to Wing Foiling.

Her determination to the sport has propelled her to the top of the female Wing Foiling World. Not only is she friends with her teammate and multiple World Champion Nia Suardiaz, but she is also hot on her heels at most of the GWA World Cups. Apart from the World Tour she passes on her knowledge and passion for watersports as an instructor.
