When and where did you start Wing Foiling?
When I was 12 years old, I started Wing Foiling, in Arrecife, Lanzarote. I saw my dad learning and I wanted to prove him, that I could do it, too. That day I felt super motivated and from then on, I loved Wing Foiling.
What’s your watersports history – from which side did you enter Winging?
All my family likes water sports so when I was little, I started Surfing and I also did Windsurfing, Skim Board, … Now with Wing Foiling I can mix all these sports.
What do you love about Wing Foiling?
What I love the most about this sport is the feeling of flying over the water, surfing big waves and when you are jumping and doing a lot of maneuvers.
What’s your favourite conditions?
I like Wing Foiling when the wind is super strong and there are big waves.
What’s your top advice for a beginner?
First of all, you have to get the right gear according to your weight and level. One of the most important things is that you do not need to fear anything. And it is better to start on flat conditions.
Boom or handles?
I prefer booms, because you can put your hands in any kind of position and there are some tricks where you have to put your hands in the middle of the boom.
