Detailed and dedicated, our flying Dutchman is a competitive machine, but also an important part of the R&D team. Diligent to the millimeter, Jordy adopts the same precision whether it’s testing our latest freeride equipment or preparing for races on the PWA World Tour.

"Since years I’m in a very lucky situation that I’m windsurfing full time, which means it’s my work and hobby at the same time. It means everything to me"
Jordy grew up at the coast of Holland and started windsurfing when he moved to a little town below Amsterdam when he was 12 years old. As Holland is small, there’s basically water everywhere. Jordy learned to windsurf on several lakes with his father, who is slalom windsurfing until this day. Since he took Jordy to his first competition which he straight away won, he knew what he wanted: win more trophies. It was clear for Jordy that all he wanted was to become pro, which he was combining with studying commercial economics until he was 23, before becoming full time windsurfer after that.
