La Downwinder Air è la versione da viaggio e resistente agli urti della Downwinder SLS in composito.
La poppa affusolata e sottile garantisce efficienza in planata e accelerazione istantanea, per raggiungere rapidamente la velocità di take-off. Le Downwinder Air hanno peso e accessori ridotti, a differenza dei modelli Sky Air, in modo da renderle tanto leggere quanto le loro sorelle in composito. Sono facili da portare fuori dall’acqua in SUP downwind e incredibilmente efficienti per il Wing Foiling con vento leggero. Sono disponibili in 3 dimensioni: 6‘10’’ x 20“ (105l), 7‘4’’ x 21“ (115l) e 7‘10’’ x 22.5“ (125l).
Le line d’acqua sono state testate in un vasto spettro di condizioni, dall’acqua piatta ai consistenti swell oceanici, e hanno dimostrato adattabilità ed affidabilità eccezionali. La rigidità è garantita dalla tecnologia Fusion e da una solida placca in carbonio: queste tavole hanno presentato deformazioni pressochè nulle sotto stress. Il pumping sul piatto risulta incredibilmente facile con la Downwinder Air, rendendola un’alternativa reale ai nostri modelli alto di gamma in composito, quando non si ha spazio in macchina, un rimessaggio, il budget per una Downwinder SLS, o semplicemente se si preferisce viaggiare leggeri.

sehr gutes Board für den Binnen Reviere und Leichtwind
Mit dem Downwinder macht Wingfoilen einfach Spaß. Egal ob Leichtwind oder böige Verhältnisse, so wie auf Binnenseen, das Board ist einfach super, wenn man keinen Focus auf Springen hat. Ich fahre das Board ab 7 knoten bis > 25 knoten. Das Aufpumpen ist mit der mitgelieferten Pumpe schnell erledigt. Die Kippstabilität ist wesentlich besser als vermutet. Wenn es nicht gerade extrem kabbelig und windig ist, ist der Start für mich, 93 kg überhaupt kein Problem. Generell ist die Eingewöhnungszeit sehr kurz. Das Board kommt sehr gut frei und lässt sich wohl durch das geringe Gewicht sehr gut pumpen. Auch bei Manövern ist die geringere Breite kein Problem. Da ich mit dem Duotone Air Konzept sehr zufrieden bin, wird mein nächstes Board für die Welle auch ein Air. Dann aber mid length und Fußschlaufen.
Flies off the water
7'4" 115L board. Super easy to travel with this board! The larger volume made it super stable but did not impact quick release from the water. I was concerned with throw weight due to length but virtually unnoticeable because of the tapered shape. New favorite light wind board!
Travel pro
Hard to believe this is an inflatable because it feels so stiff underfoot. Perfect if you’re short on space in the car or on a plane.
