Downwind Foiling Victories on Maui

Well done Finn & Jeffrey Spencer!

Last weekend, the Hawaiian Islands witnessed epic Downwind Foiling action with 130+ competitors covering nearly 70 miles between Maui, Molokai, and Oahu, finishing with the legendary the Molokai 2 Oahu Paddleboard World Championships 2024. It was incredible to see so many foilers from around the world competing and showcasing the true stoke for this exciting sport!

We're incredibly proud to see our Duotone brand ambassadors and board shapers Finn spencerfinishing 2nd and Jeffrey Spencer finishing 5th in the Triple Crown of the three Downwind races Paddle Imua, Molokai Holokai and Molokai2Oahu with podium finishes in all three of these events!

It was an epic final battle for the overall crown between Edo Tanas and Finn, with Finn leading the majority of the race throughout the Kaiwi Channel showing his outstanding ability of reading the ocean and proving how well our latest designs perform.

Big shoutout to our Foil Designer Jerome Bonieux and our entire Foiling R&D team for their hard work in creating some amazing new foil models Finn and Jeffrey used in those events! Stay tuned for our upcoming Foil launch in September!
