Growing up on the south coast of England, George’s passion for freestyle started when he was working at Club Vass, although it quickly took him further afield than the beaches of Greece. Since joining the Freestyle Pro Tour as both a rider and part of the media team, George has developed into an all-round rider combining impressive competition results with inspiring media projects.

"Windsurfing allows me to express myself and my style, as well as enabling me to travel the world, making the videos I grew up watching as a kid."
George started windsurfing at age 5, as his parents are both passionate windsurfers. Fortunately, his mum was an instructor, so George could learn relatively fast. By the age of 17, he started to work as an instructor at Club Vass in Greece. At the time, 5 PWA sailors were working at the school, and their level inspired George and pushed him to progress. From that time on, George caught the freestyle bug. Ever since then, he has been working at the school every summer and traveling to Brazil and South Africa in the winter to train and pursue the goal of becoming a professional. In 2022, he made his dream come to life and turned professional. Now, George is spending his summers travelling Europe in his van, creating content and competing full time!
