Both wings provide outstanding agility and responsiveness, making them the perfect choice for riders of all levels. The 2026 Unit SLS features enhanced balance across all wind angles and speeds, greater power generation with a direct and intuitive on/off feel, and improved drift stability and steering on the wave for better maneuverability.
The performance of both models lies between the original model and the D/LAB, ensuring lightweight responsiveness and agility for all riders. The Aluula Gold L1 panel combined with PentaTX used in both models provide an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, contributing to lightness and direct response. Fusion Boom and handle options allow for easy adaptation to individual riding styles.
Featuring reduced profile depth in the center and increased profile at the quarter-span points, the design optimizes sheeting angles across the entire wing—resulting in instant power, enhanced on/off responsiveness, improved top-end performance, and better riding angles.
The compact outline across the entire range enhances maneuverability, allowing riders to confidently navigate various conditions. You'll also notice the new, wider and stiffer leading-edge handle design, which offers precise steering behavior while surfing. Additionally, the deeper canopy at the quarter-span stabilizes luffing and provides neutral to slightly positive lift, resulting in a light, balanced feel during maneuvers.
The Unit SLS Concept Blue focuses on environmental responsibility, incorporating eco-friendly features like a bio-based bladder that reduces the carbon footprint by 29% and the use of at least 50% post-industrial recycled materials in its construction. This commitment to sustainability ensures top performance while minimizing environmental impact.

Sick Wing
This year’s Unit once again shows a clear step forward in performance. The wing feels exceptionally light in the hands, making maneuvers smoother and more controlled. Pumping from the low end takes a bit of getting used to, but once dialed in, it gets going really early. Overall, a great evolution that continues to impress.
