Choosing the right Duotone wing mainly depends on your skill level, riding style, and the typical wind conditions you ride in.

• Duotone Unit
  The most versatile all-round wing. Balanced power, easy handling, and great control. Ideal for beginners to advanced riders, freeride sessions, and a wide range of conditions.

• Duotone Float
  Optimized for wave riding and downwind foiling. Excellent drift, lightweight construction, and smooth control when riding waves without constant power.

• Duotone Ventis
  The light-wind specialist. High efficiency and large span allow foiling in very light wind conditions—perfect for heavier riders or low-wind spots.

There are different types of wings for Wing Foiling, which differ mainly in their size and design.

There are wings that are designed for beginners and offer good stability and easy handling, while others are designed for advanced riders and offer higher performance and agility.

In addition, there are different models with either 2 shorter handles, a longer boom or the possibility to attach both variants to one wing to adapt the wing to different conditions and rider preferences.

Choosing the correct wing size is crucial for early success and overall riding enjoyment. The main factors are body weight, wind strength, and experience level.

General guideline:

• Light wind (10–15 knots) → 5.5–7.0 m²

• Medium wind (15–20 knots) → 4.5–5.5 m²

• Strong wind (20–30 knots) → 3.0–4.5 m²

Body weight matters:

• Riders under 70 kg usually need smaller wings

• Riders over 85 kg often benefit from 0.5–1.0 m² more surface area

Beginner tip:

A slightly larger wing makes water starts easier, improves stability, and helps you progress faster - especially in gusty conditions.

There are several parameters that play an important role in the design of a wing for Wing Foiling. These include the wingspan, surface area and profile of the wing, all of which influence the lift and control characteristics.

In addition, aspects such as the material, the number of struts and the shape of the handles are also decisive for the overall performance and handling of the wing.

With proper care, a Duotone wing will perform reliably for many seasons.

Care tips:

• Rinse with fresh water after saltwater use

• Do not roll up the wing when wet or sandy

• Avoid prolonged UV exposure

• Never leave it inflated in direct sunlight

Storage:

• Store in a dry, cool, and shaded place

• Avoid long-term tight folding or compression

• Roll up loosely in the wing bag

Durability:
