This battery box is part of the Battery Box Mounting Set and is also available separately as a spare part. It has been specifically designed for board-mounted use and differs from the battery box used with the eHarness. For this reason, it should only be mounted on the board and not used with the eHarness.

Unlike the eHarness version, the power cable connector is pointing straight instead of outward. This way, the cable can be easily attached when the box is mounted on the board. Using this battery box with the eHarness could place excessive strain on the cable, for example, when sitting on the board and bending the cable 90°, which may lead to cable damage over time.

The battery box also features a dedicated antenna connection for the wire antenna. The antenna is connected to the receiver located inside the bottom of the battery box and is routed through a thin tube underneath the deck pad toward the nose of the board. This setup ensures a reliable wireless connection between the remote and the motor, even when the tail of the board is submerged.

A submerged tail can temporarily reduce wireless signal strength, particularly when lying on the board before takeoff or while accelerating at low speeds. By extending the antenna toward the front of the board, signal quality remains more consistent, resulting in reliable motor response and uninterrupted propulsion.

Important: Before use, both the power cable and the wire antenna must be properly connected and secured to the battery box. Ensure all connectors are fully tightened to prevent water from entering the box.
