Maria and Jace met early in the morning at Baldwin Beach, chasing calm conditions and clear skies, with the West Maui Mountains rising beautifully in the background. Those quiet early hours already set the tone for what promised to be a special day on the water.

As the day progressed, the session moved to Spreckelsville, where the wind began to build steadily. That familiar Maui rhythm kicked in — the kind that tells you everything is lining up. From there, it was an easy decision to head over to Ho‘okipa where the conditions delivered exactly what Maui is known for: steady wind, clean energy, and perfectly sized waves that made every run feel controlled and exciting.
