Concept Blue represents Duotone's consistent commitment to pushing the boundaries of Kite and Wing technology further — through the targeted use of innovative, recycled and natural materials in selected components and models. We are proud of the progress we have made so far.

UNDYED FABRICS
Selected kite and wing models use undyed canopy and Dacron materials, showcasing their natural appearance while significantly reducing water consumption during production.

BIO-BASED BLADDER
All of our kites and wings feature a bio-based bladder containing up to 57% bio-based carbon according to ASTM D6866.
RECYCLED PLASTIC PARTS
Concept Blue kites and wings incorporate plastic components made with at least 50% post-industrial recycled plastic, helping reduce the need for virgin materials without sacrificing performance.

FLAX AND BASALT
The Concept Blue versions of Jaime, Select, Soleil and Spike use natural materials such as flax and basalt as part of their construction.
In these Twintips, flax fibres replace the glass fibres previously used in selected areas and offer comparable technical properties with additional performance benefits.
Flax is a fast-growing crop and is known for its strong damping characteristics. In addition, flax offers excellent damping and torsional flex properties. This makes it a suitable material for high-performance Twintips.
By combining flax and basalt fibres, we increase torsional and longitudinal stiffness while maintaining sporty performance and a precise ride feel.
Basalt fibres are made from natural volcanic rock and support a responsive and direct riding experience within the board construction.

UNDYED ORGANIC COTTON
The Concept Blue apparel collection features undyed organic cotton, eliminating the need for dyes and reducing water and chemical consumption while maintaining the fabric’s natural softness and minimalist look.
