Growing up in Hamburg with both my parents being windsurfers and the roots of my family on the island of Sylt, my passion for this sport started when I was 5 years old, surfing mainly in the holidays with my parents. Fast forward a few years and Vincent Langer convinced me to give it a try and start competing at the German national series where I’ve ended up on the youth podium quite a bit. After this first season I was motivated to compete. After my first travel to Capetown in the Winter of 2019, where I’ve landed my first front- and backloops, I had changed the slalom gear for wave gear and from there on knew that waveriding was my passion.
