Back-to-back wins with double podium at GWA World Cup Lanzarote for Paula and Nia!
Huge congratulation to our Duotone and Fanatic Wing Foil team riders PAULA NOVOTNA and Nia Suardiaz who repeated their first and second place from Silvaplana also at the GWA World Cup in Lanzarote.

Tour stop number three hits the Canaries at the well-known Costa Teguise of Lanzarote to seek strong winds. The focus for this event is Surf-Freestyle.

 

With Paula’s second Tour win of the year and one 2nd place, when her 15-year-old teammate Nia won in Leucate the two Duotone and Fanatic riders have decided the victory between themselves in all three events.

Both continue to dominate the women’s fleet and showed an epic freestyle performance during the final in which the lead swayed between the two riders from start to finish. Again, it was a close battle with Paula scoring 23,50 and Nia 21.40!

That keeps Paula in first and Nia in second place in the rankings with the gap stretching out!

To leave no doubt who are the two leading women in the world of Wingfoiling right now, also in the Slalom show event they took the first podium spots. This time it was Paula, who became 2nd while Nia won all four of the women’s surf-slalom show heats. The young Spanish girl was still hungry for more and finished this great World Cup weekend scoring the “best trick” showdown during the final day on Lanzarote.
