Growing up in Prague Paula Novotna used to do gymnastics when she was a little kid. It seems like this gave her the perfect fundament for her later career as Freestyler. As she puts it: “Flying in the air, rotations and flips are very natural for me.” A long list of World Cup podiums proofs the outstanding talent of the Czech rider – in Kiteboarding and Wing Foiling! The energetic water woman just likes to do everything – and she is working hard for her success. Not only in regards of physical and mental training, but also with creative and professional social media work. We are pleased to have athletes like her shaping the sport!

From his home spot at the beautiful location of Lake Traunsee, Austria, pleasant-natured Stefan Spiessberger (“Stef”) started off as a world class athlete at the GKA Kiteboarding World Cup. When Wing Foiling evolved, he was immediately attracted by the endless possibilities and fast development of this new sport.

Soon the ambitious Austrian proved his talent in the GWA Wing Foiling World Cup as well, stepping onto the podium. As if that is not enough, he has established a water sports center “Lakebase” at the place where it all began, over 15 years ago. Stef also has supported and driven the development of the Duotone Kite and Wing Academy App.
