GWA Abu Dhabi – FreeFly-Slalom Win & 2025 Podiums

In light and tricky conditions at the GWA World Cup Abu Dhabi, Spain’s Nia Suardiaz once again proved her dominance, securing her third consecutive FreeFly-Slalom World Title and marking her eighth Overall World Title at just 18 years old.

Mar de Arce joined her on the podium in 3rd, rounding off a stellar season for the Duotone Wing Foiling team.

Both riders continue to push the limits of women’s competition — setting new benchmarks for performance and progression.

Podium for the Girls – Nia 1st, Mar in 3rd!

The GWA World Cup Abu Dhabi delivered a thrilling finale as our reigning World Champion Nia Suardiaz entered the final day as the overnight leader, while Mar de Arce earned her podium spot after a strong semi-final performance.

In the decisive second super-final, Nia came out determined. She nailed the start, took the lead, and never looked back to take the event win and her third consecutive FreeFly-Slalom World Title.

Mar de Arce rounded off the podium in 3rd place, marking another incredible result for the Duotone Wing Foiling team and a powerful finish to the 2025 season.

Also well done to Manon Dupe from Guadeloupe finishing within the Top 10 in 7th!
