Evo Bladder

Safety Notice

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Dear Duotone Kiteboarding Customers,

We want to address an important issue regarding the bladder material used in some of our Evo Original kites, sizes 5-10. Not affected are sizes 11-13 and not affected are all Evo Concept Blue. It has come to our attention that unfortunately our supplier utilized bladder material in some Evo Original kites, sizes 5-10 that was not approved by Duotone, leading to reports from customers about bladder failures and air loss.

To proactively address this matter, we are taking the following actions:

1. IS YOUR EVO AFFECTED?

Bellow you'll find a list of all affected product numbers. If your kite has one of these product numbers, you can have the bladder replaced at no cost to you.

You will find the serial number of your kite in the following location.

2. Bladder Replacement

We will replace the bladders in all affected kites. To ensure your safety and satisfaction, we recommend that all customers proactively replace their bladders rather than waiting for them to lose air.

3. Replacement Process

  • Duotone will cover the cost of the bladder replacement for affected customers.

  • The process will be handled through the retailer where you purchased your kite. Please contact the shop directly to arrange for the replacement. These shops have already received replacement bladders from Duotone or can obtain them for repairs.

  • Alternatively, you can visit a repair shop near you to have the replacement done. You can find a local repair shop using our Repair Shop Finder.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to resolve this issue. Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities, and we are committed to ensuring that you have the best experience with any Duotone products.

Thank you for being a valued member of the Duotone community.

Best regards,
The Duotone Kiteboarding Team

Safety Notice: We urge all customers to prioritize their safety by replacing the bladders of affected Evos as soon as possible to prevent any potential issues while using the kites.
