Marie Schlittenbauer takes her first Victory

Marie Schlittenbauer, just 15 years old, delivered an unforgettable performance to secure her first World Cup victory — and only at her second-ever GWA event (she finished 2nd in Tarifa). Marie impressed the judges with a Palau Frontside and followed it up with a Palau to Palau combo that scored a perfect 10 out of 10. In a historic moment, she also became the first woman to land a backmobe in competition, underlining her rising star status.

16 year old Manon Dupet from Guadeloupe also entered the final and took fourth after a strong event performance – for sure we will hear more from her!

Nia Suardiaz takes the win in the female FreeFly-Slalom, Mar de Arce in 3rd

After a tough Surf-Freestyle competition, Nia Suardiaz came back strong to take the win in the women’s FreeFly-Slalom final.

Nia advanced directly to the final, while Mar de Arce showed full control and was dominating the field finishing in 3rd. Manon Dupe was also strong here and battled through two heats with grit but narrowly missed the cut into the final and finished 6th.

In the final, Nia showed why she’s the reigning World Champion and she was quickly taking the lead. Once ahead, she navigated the pump section with precision and powered across the finish line for a well-earned victory.
