The energetic little sister of Arthur already stepped on the podium at the GWA Youth World Championships in 2024.
When and where did you start Wing Foiling?
I started with foil being dragged by my dad, when I was 9. Next, I learned winging in Saint-Francois, with my family. They took me upwind and followed me when I went down the lagoon and made my first flights alone. It was amazing and perfect for me!
What’s your watersports history – from which side did you enter Winging?
My family did every watersport possible, and I was already windsurfing, surfing and dinghy! I fell in love with all foil sports, but I continue to sail every week in a school sport program.
What do you love about Wing Foiling?
I like the feeling of flying and freedom! And I love Freestyle jumps and gliding!
What’s your favourite conditions?
I like when the wind is moderate with pretty waves like at home in Guadeloupe. I discovered strong wind in Canarias last year and it’s a lot of fun!
What’s your top advice for a beginner?
Try to learn to manage the foil by being pulled behind a boat first and the start Wing Foiling with the right equipment and adapt it to your progress: biggest board to be comfortable according to your weight and level (not too big for children).
Boom or handles?
I prefer handles for freestyle and for race for the moment
