For those who might not be familiar, what makes the Vegas such an excellent kite for freestyle and park riding? What specific design elements give it an edge?

What makes the Vegas the best kite for freestyle and park riding is its classic C-shaped design, which, when paired with the 22m 5-line Click Bar, delivers an incredibly direct and responsive feel. This close connection to the kite allows riders to make precise adjustments in the air, perfect for executing the most technical moves. Since most of these tricks are unhooked, you need a kite that stays steady and gives you constant feedback, so you always know exactly where it is and how it’s behaving. The C kite design also provides the best slack of any kite in the range, which gives you powerful pop and the ability to perform handle passes without the line tension that is typical of other kite shapes.

The Vegas Concept Blue maintains its core performance while introducing eco-friendly materials like undyed fabrics, a bio-resin-based bladder, and recycled composite parts. How has the kite held up in terms of performance, durability, and feel? Have you noticed any changes?

From a durability standpoint, there are no differences with the previous models. You’re getting the same performance, but with smarter sustainable decisions. The Concept Blue version is sleeker with its undyed fabrics and has a cleaner, more refined look in the sk and as far as handling and durability goes, it feels just as sharp and responsive as before and just as durable.

With a more minimalist design to further reduce its environmental impact, what are your impressions of the look of the new Concept Blue Vegas?

I absolutely love the minimalist design! If you know me, you know I’m a big fan of clean, simple aesthetics on a kite. This is by far my favorite Vegas to date. I’m excited to get out there and shoot with it, showing off just how good it looks while riding.

What is your preferred bar and line setup with this kite?

I think I can speak for the whole team when I say the new Small Click Bar with 22m lines is our preferred setup. It gives you the best control and feel for freestyle and park riding, especially when paired with the big wakestyle chicken loop.
