The Foil Assist Remote Control combines a waterproof smartwatch-style controller with a finger ring.
This innovative design allows you to keep your hands free while pushing yourself up from the board, paddling, duck diving, or grabbing the boom of your wing. The remote control is intuitive to use and ensures along with the receiver in the battery box reliable signal transmission to the ESC/motor.
The set includes:
- Watch with a Velcro wristband
- Ring controller
- Spare ring controller
- USB-C charging cable (without outlet adapter)
- XL replacement strap
- Two thick ring cushions for a smaller index finger
With the watch, you can monitor the following parameters:
- Speed level: 0 - 7
- Battery status of the Foil Assist
- Battery status of the remote control
- Connection status of your remote control with the Foil Assist system
- Setting: See whether your remote control is set to Standard Mode (5 speed levels, energy-saving) or Boost Mode (7 speed levels, energy-intensive).
- Lock: The lock symbol indicates whether the remote control is locked or unlocked.
With the + and - buttons on the ring controller, you can easily adjust your speed. Hold down the + or - button to maintain a specific speed. To stop the motor, simply release the ring controller.
Your safety is our top priority. The remote control is equipped with a double-click safety mechanism. To activate the motor and switch from speed 0 to speed 1, you must double-click the + button on the ring controller. This prevents the motor from being activated by accidental clicks. To stop the motor while using the Foil Assist, simply release the ring controller (+ or - button). We recommend practicing the release of the ring controller several times at the beginning to ensure you stop the motor immediately in case of a fall.
Please note that the Bluetooth signal may be lost if the remote control is underwater. Therefore, place your hands on the nose of the board when you start cruising and stand up.
