Growing up in Guadeloupe, Léo was constantly in the water and also practiced windsurfing and SUP from a young age. In 2016, he began Prone Foiling using small waves and trade wind bumps to learn the basics. With his surfing background, he quickly developed remarkable skills and became passionate about Prone Foiling as it offers the unique possibility to have fun in almost any condition - from small waves to big surf and downwind foiling: “It opens up a whole new world, letting you ride waves that would be impossible to catch with any other water sport.”
Despite his competitive achievements in surfing, Léo prefers to keep the sport fun and free-spirited, focusing on the creativity and exploration foiling offers rather than competitions. The passionate waterman feels blessed to live close to the ocean, allowing him to ride almost every day, always striving for big waves and downwind runs.
