Gollito Estredo takes the PWA Freestyle opening event and Adrien Bosson reaches his best ever result on the PWA World Tour – 2nd!

8-time Freestyle World Champion – Jose ‘Gollito’ Estredo – proved himself to still be the man that everyone else has to beat as the Venezuelan once again showed that he has that killer instinct of a champion, while still oozing style left, right and centre. Here you would have to think that victory here is a massive step towards Freestyle World title No.9!

Adrien Bosson has previously finished 3rd in both PWA events Austria and Sylt, but went one time better this time around and looks incredibly dangerous.

Arrianne Aukes couldn’t trouble the top 3 this time around, but the 31-year-old proved far too strong for the rest of the fleet, which sees her secure 4th place in the overall rankings.

Gollito Estredo taking the single elimination crown

The Venezuelan posted his two highest scores of the single elimination against Yentel Caers in the semifinal and in the final against Adrien Bosson (Fanatic / Duotone / Maui Ultra Fins) to come out on top as he showed his champion winning qualities again by oozing his trademark style.

Adrien Bosson equals his best ever performance in a single elimination (also qualifying for the winners’ final in 2016 at the Austria PWA World Cup where he also faced Gollito) after performing at an incredibly high level throughout the single elimination. The Frenchman was locked in a tough battle with Amado Vrieswijk in the semifinals, but eventually came out on top as he landed a sick air kabikuchi late on to take the victory and move into the final, where he pushed Gollito all the way. In fact the final was so close that by the end there was just 6.6 points between the two of them. Bosson will now look to hold onto second place at a minimum in order to record his best ever result on the world tour.
