Due to lighter winds towards the end of the week, only four eliminations could be completed at the PWA Slalom event on Fuerteventura. However, in these four rounds the PWA fleet showed world class racing. Betting must have been quite easy, as the results don't differ a lot from the overall ranking. Our bronze Frenchman Pierre Mortefon took home the third place one more time and therewith cements his third place in the overall ranking. He is a constant performer and never seems to have a bad day during competitions. With the great result of a 3rd, a 2nd and 2x 4th place, he wouldn't even have needed the discard come to play!
Jordy Vonk follows him on a 4th place, which brings him closer to Toselli on 4th in the overall. Well done #WarpBoyZ! It seems like last 2018 slalom event on Sylt will see the big showdown: Albeau and Iachino for the crown, Pierre defending 3rd and Jordy pushing hard for 4th.
