Essas duas mudanças ajudaram muito a liberar a pipa e a melhorar a direção. A última mudança que tivemos de fazer foi tornar as escoras da ponta um pouco mais rígidas. No passado recente, tínhamos usado suportes flexíveis bem macios e isso funcionou muito bem, mas com o Aluula mais rígido precisávamos de suportes de ponta mais potentes. As escoras de ponta mais rígidas melhoraram muitas coisas em relação à velocidade de giro, à redução de potência e à redução da oscilação e da vibração nas pontas da pipa durante as curvas.
Compared to the previous Aluula material, it still has stiffness and reactivity in the directions that we want it, but now the torsional stiffness is a little softer, making it more flexible, which lends itself well to not only being comfortable, but also having really quick reactive steering, because of that flexibility. When you give bar input, the kite will flex and initiate a turn quicker. Through the implementation of the new D/TX material, we've really increased the steering speed.

Eu diria que qualquer pessoa que possa pagar, porque é um pouco mais caro. Qualquer pessoa em um hydrofoil vai adorar o peso menor. Mas, é claro, o componente mais importante em nossa campanha é o surfista de ondas hardcore, qualquer pessoa que realmente queira ter um bom desempenho nas ondas terá um desempenho melhor com uma Neo D/LAB.

We were able to open the Arc, and make it fly wider compared to last year's Neo D/Lab. The tips are also a more neutral angle compared to last year’s model, they don't pinch in as much on the wing tips. That allows the kite to drive forward more in the window. It still has really great drift, and it hasn't lost any of its drifting characteristics that everyone knows from a Neo D/LAB, and the light wind performance is still amazing. It drifts down the line incredibly well and allows you to position your kite exactly where you want it. You can even bottom turn without line tension, and still have the ability to steer the kite even with slack lines.
With that change in Arc and the more neutral tip angle, the kite always wants to drive forward. So it always wants to seek the edge of the window and continue forward, it'll drift, but it doesn't want to continue back stalling. It will actually drive forward and give you that extra bit of power in the bar that you need to complete your turn. The other point, with the more neutral wing tips, is it has better top end. So we managed to also give it better de-power, so you can shut off the power completely when you sheet out.
