What do you do on a day without wind?

I’m probably surfing, skating or having coffees.

What style of music are you interested in?

Depends on the time of the day. I listen to Rock stuff quite a lot before a session.

How and why did you start kiteboarding?

I’ve been Windsurfing on the lake at home in Austria before where I saw kiting pretty much everyday. It always seemed far away for me, financially and in terms of who would teach me, to switch from Windsurfing to Kiting. One day when I was 16 I just started to safe up money from my summer job, bought a kite and got a friend to show me how to set it up. From then on it was all about kiting.

Why are you riding for Duotone?

I have been riding for the brand from the beginning of my career on. It doesn’t get any better than that. The products, the team, the motivation and the people behind the brand. I couldn’t imagine my kiting being at where it is today without all of that!

What is your main goal for the future?

I definitely want to keep going on the Freestyle World Tour. Keep my riding up and get even more into filming.

What training do you do to stay fit?

I go to gym a bit if I don’t kite. But besides that I think being on the water is the best workout you will get.

What would have been your job if you wouldn´t be a pro kiteboarder?

Probably still studying. But I’m not sure if I’d be finished by now.

What´s your favourite food?

Steak & everything that Mom makes.
