Because Jeremie Tronet already started Kitesurfing in 1998, with very limited safety mechanisms, two line kites, a body board and no-one to teach him…
At the age of 12, if we wanted to improve we had to try new things, sometimes fail, fail a lot. Jeremie tried to learn from older riders or invent new tricks himself, always believing in his dream to compete one day. Already many years ago he founded the JT Pro Center where most of the Academy tricks were shot. Till today, students and friends keep asking Jeremie for advice how to get better and since the release of the Duotone Academy App, where Jeremie is an important part of, he’s using the app to guarantee kitesurfers learn faster and with continuous success.

Jean Guillaume Rivaud - Tell your story - Duotone Academy App
Jean Guillaume started his kitesurfing career in 2007 in a little kite school, when there was not many kitesurfers out yet, but the vibe and help within the kite community was great. Progress was mainly made by try and error as well as tips from your kitesurfing friends. Today Jean Gui is still inspired by the best of the world of all disciplines kitesurfing offers. With all his experience Jean Guillaume was an amazing help to the foil part of the Academy App – and of course he wishes he would have had this App already at the beginning of his kitesurfing career to avoid a lot of mistakes and to improve way faster than in the past! His favorite feature: The download function, so tricks can be watched offline wherever, whenever!

AARON HADLOW - Tell your story - Duotone Academy App
Back when Aaron Hadlow was learning to kiteboard, his first skills came from his dad who’s progression was self taught. Passing his knowledge down to Aaron, it wasn’t long before Hadlow started his own process of never-been-done’s, which ultimately built the freestyle discipline to what it is today. Trial and error, attempting new things and working it out for himself, he say’s ”If there was an APP like the Duotone Academy back in the day, things would have moved on a lot faster.” This is the story of his journey to the top and why the new Duotone Academy APP is a game changer for personalprogression, community and kiteboarding.
