Running for over a decade, the IKSURF Readers Awards allow the public to voice their opinion and vote for their favourites for the year. With immense gratitude, Duotone Kiteboarding takes home the win for both Kitesurfing Brand of the Year and Board Manufacturer of the year, along with team rider and World Champion Gianmaria Coccoluto securing a well-deserved award for the Best Male Kitesurfer.

As a brand, we continuously strive to improve upon the prior year. Everything from our products to our team, the events we support, and the initiatives we push, we are incessantly working to be the best we can be, and we are thrilled to be chosen as your brand of the year for the third year in a row.

In addition to Brand of the Year, we are honoured to be awarded the Best Board Manufacturer of 2022. For this, we give huge thanks to our board designers, testers, team riders and everyone working diligently behind the scenes to continue improving our products year after year. With the introduction of our new D/LAB construction in addition to the traditional and SLS construction boards, our team had their work cut out for them to develop this winning lineup.  

Regarded as one of the most stylish riders, Gianmaria Coccoluto had an incredible year earning his first freestyle world title, gracing numerous magazine covers, and delivering captivating content all year. We couldn’t be more proud to have him on our team and awarded this year’s Best Male Kiteboarder.
