Growing up, I wasn’t a fan of windsurfing and water sports. I was this small, skinny kid who could barely lift a sail and only went out when my parents forced me to. I was more focused on soccer and trying to go pro there since I was on the recruiting team for my local MLS team. That was until I faced an Achilles injury, which demotivated me from pursuing since I couldn’t keep up or play at the same level as I used to. So, I decided to give windsurfing a second chance. Now a little taller and stronger, I could use the equipment I had available from my parents. Within one week, I had gotten hooked on the sport. I went from beginner to using a harness, planing, and starting to try carving. Within one summer, I had started jumping, and within one year I had started looping and trying Vulcans. From there it was all thanks to my parent's support in motivating me to push my level which led me to where I am today!
