Our Commitment to the Planet
At Boards & More, we firmly believe that our passion for watersports and cycling is inseparable from our respect for nature. That’s why we decided to become members of "1% for the Planet". This coalition of businesses recognized that it’s time to actively contribute to preserving our environment.
We see the need to question our business practices and understand that economic success is directly linked to the state of our Earth.

Through our commitment to "1% for the Planet", we reaffirm not only our goal of acting more sustainably but also our commitment to the values that shape our "Save our Playgrounds" program and our "Code of Conduct".
By donating 1% of our online revenue to environmental and social projects, we send a strong message about our commitment and invite our community to join us on this journey.
As Duotone, we cooperate with Viva con Agua.
We support the work of the non-profit organization Viva con Agua de Sankt Pauli e.V. because together we believe in the vision of WATER FOR ALL - ALL FOR WATER. Founded in Hamburg in 2006, the initiative supports water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) projects worldwide with local and international partner organizations.
For us as water sports enthusiasts, water reflects the element of joy and excitement. However, water means so much more. Water is life! Without water, there would be no living beings or humans. Access to clean and safe water is a human right, yet sanitary facilities and hygienic infrastructure are not a matter of fact for all of us. So, it was just a natural step for us to support the vision of WATER FOR ALL with our reach and donations in a part of the world where people are struggling with it.

Our yearly donation to Viva con Agua supports two projects in Cape Town.
Cape Town is known to most of us for its world-class wind sports conditions, where at the same time homelessness is a widespread problem.
We are funding the WASH Bus, a mobile washing facility with showers and toilets that tours the capital of South Africa and gives back some dignity to around 1,000 homeless people throughout the year. The WASH bus together with hygiene trainings, the second project we support in South Africa, raises awareness of the lack of sanitary infrastructure and access to clean water.
