DOWNWIND FOILING FAQ
In SUP Downwind Foiling, slightly shorter masts around 75/76 cm are popular, as their lower drag when paddling up to the foil is advantageous, and the somewhat more direct response compared to longer masts provides more control. However, you can also downwind with masts around 82-84 cm; especially in larger waves, the extra length can offer benefits
