Every kiter knows the feeling, you arrive at the beach stoked for a session, and the wind hasn’t delivered what was on the forecast. Those days used to mean a return trip home from the beach feeling depressed about the wind. The new Juice is the perfect antidote. The design team has questioned all existing materials and worked hard to reduce the overall weight of the kite, exploring a new Light Wind Concept. The utilisation of the latest materials such as a lightweight Dacron material has been combined with reducing weight wherever it is possible on every component. Even the bladders use a lighter material to enhance the flying capabilities further. All of these updates have led to a kite that is not only light, but also incredibly dynamic to fly; it’s capable of hanging in the air in almost no wind and delivers plenty of low-end power. First time ever, the Juice is equipped with Flex Struts, which make steering impulses very direct and smooth. The kite is also incredibly easy to relaunch, thanks to its redefined Delta shape, even in the lightest of breezes, just pull on a rear line, and away you go! As the wind increases, the kite offers an excellent top-end range; the canopy is incredibly stable thanks to the removal of the pulleys from the bridle. This year the kite is so light it offers even more and longer lift, a characteristic foilers will enjoy when it comes to learning tacks, gybes and tricks. Sizes 11 and 13 are especially designed for and working incredibly for foiling. The complete Juice program features four sizes, but you only need one. Choose the correct kite for your weight and style of riding, foil or freeride twin tip and feel the power. Don’t get left on the beach again, get the Juice and make every session count!
New for this year is the use of lightweight Dacron material and redesigned construction details for a maximum saving of weight. These materials enhance the handling of the kite in ways never thought possible. While the general design approach has remained the same, the kite is radically different to last year’s model. The lower weight ensures unrivalled drifting abilities, more dynamic handling, a near-mystical ability to stay in the air in the lulls and improved power from a faster upstroke. Finally, the relaunch of the kite is much easier too; it’s so light that the slightest of puffs of wind will see it rising back into the sky. If you want a light kite for travelling, this is it, if you want a dynamic kite with an incredible low end for foiling, step right up, if you are just starting your kiting journey and want an easy to fly, forgiving kite, look no further. If wave riding sets your heart on fire, the Mono will happily stoke the flames especially in light winds, or perhaps freeride is your game, you’ll enjoy the constant pull and smooth power delivery. The Mono may be defined as a one-strut kite, but it is so much more than that, take one for a spin and find out what it is all about!
The new CAPA was designed to bridge the gap between high-end racing foil kites, and inflatables. The benefits of foil kites in light winds are well known, however in the past, they have been tricky to launch and land, and sometimes even hard to fly. In the CAPA, the design team have created the most user-friendly, yet performance packed foil kite on the market. You can fly this kite in almost no wind, and it is perfect for foilers and freeriders who want to increase their water time and improve their upwind angles. The sheet and go performance offers immense low-end power, but the clever design of the profile means the kite has a huge top end range too.
The kite has a light bar pressure, meaning you can ride the CAPA all day long, and you’ll be amazed of the handling too. With a dynamic and reactive nature, the CAPA feels more like an inflatable at the bar than a traditional foil kite. It delivers enormous amounts of lift, making tacks and gybes on the foil easy. If you’re riding with a twin tip the hangtime and float this kite offers will amaze you, it’s more like flying than jumping! The new air inlets ensure the kite inflates quickly and makes it very stable in gusty and turbulent conditions. Relaunch is easy on the CAPA, simply pull on a steering line just like an LEI, and the new water release channels drain super fast should any water get inside.
The CAPAcity of the CAPA knows no bounds and the CAPAbilities of this new kite are endless; if you want to feel the force this summer get the CAPA in your quiver!
The new Duotone Indy is a high performance foil board and the top of the range! It comes in one size – 4’9’’ and offers a convex bottom shape, especially in the nose area, which helps to prevent nose dives during tough downs and rails catching in the chop whilst riding upwind. The wider nose offers a maximum surface area and enough volume under the front foot to avoid nose diving, which also makes it easy to get started in light winds. The board can be ridden, two, or three foot straps and has a track foil mount. A high performance foil board with the need for speed!
