When and where did you start Wing Foiling? I got a winging lesson from Ken Winner and Sky Solbach in the Summer of 2019…One lesson was all it took…I was hooked!

What’s your watersports history – from which side did you enter Winging? I started foiling before I started surfing.  Stand-Up paddling has always been one of my favorites, especially wave riding on my SUP.

What do you love about Wing Foiling? The freedom and the Speed.  I can do anything with my wing…..surf, downwinders, races, tricks, jump high….its all there to play on.

What’s your favourite conditions? 5-6 foot waves and 20-25 knot winds

What’s your top advice for a beginner? Stick to your strengths. You don’t have to feel pressure to be good at all types of winging. Find ways to take the personal pressure off yourself.  Just have fun with the wing…

Boom or handles? It’s close but…..handles.  You have less hard parts to hit when you are doing tricks and its lighter.
