Pedro Matos Finished 3rd overall on the GKA Kitesurf World Tour 2021, ranked 2nd on the tour stop in Sylt, 2nd on the tour stop in Dakhla and 4th on the tour stop in Cape Verde in 2020. “We’re a strong team and competition is part of the game but we’re all friends until it actually goes into the heat against each other, then it’s war! Off-season and during photo shootings, it’s more relaxed. It’s a different pressure as we work as a team. We talk about other things besides kitesurfing topics, share different interests, just have fun and enjoy life. The team spirit is huge and also nurtured by the team managers every day. We know nobody wins alone. We help each other because we know we can be stronger and better like this. To achieve new tricks, new levels of riding mean training hard, being creative, being aware of your style and sending it as hard as you can.
